Zimbabwean Gango

SERVES: 6 People

COOKING TIME: 2 Hours & 30 Minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Tbsp oil

  • 300g pork belly, cut into bite-size pieces

  • 1 Tbsp TOP CLASS Gango Flavoured Usavi sachet

  • 200g Boerewors, cut into bite-size pieces

  • 300g kidney, cut into bite-size pieces

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 300g Ox liver, cut into bite-size pieces

  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped

  • ½ tsp Curry Powder

  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped

  • 2 large tomatoes, grated

  • ¾ bundle veggies, chopped

METHOD

  1. In a large pan, heat oil and brown the pork belly. Add TOP CLASS Gango Flavoured Usavi Mix and cook for 2 - 3 minutes. 

  2. Add boerewors and brown. Stir in kidney and salt, cook for 5 minutes. 

  3. Add the liver, cook for 5 more minutes. 

  4. Add onion and Curry Powder, cook for 2 minutes. Stir in tomato and cook until soft for 3 – 5 minutes. 

  5. Add vegetables and cook for 5 minutes. 

  6. Season to taste and serve.
