Saucy Spaghetti and Soya Mince

SERVES: 6 People

COOKING TIME: 1 Hour

INGREDIENTS

  • 200g TOP CLASS Chakalaka Flavoured Soya Mince

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1 green pepper, chopped

  • 1 tomato, chopped

  • 2 Tbsp oil

  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (fresh/frozen)

  • 300g minced meat

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1L water for Soya Mince (4 cups)

  • 500g spaghetti pasta

METHOD

  1. Soak TOP CLASS Chakalaka Flavoured Soya Mince in warm water for 15-20 minutes.

  2. Fry the onion & green peppers in oil.

  3. Add in the chopped tomatoes and keep stirring.

  4. Add the minced meat and fry for 5 minutes.

  5. Add in the mixed vegetable and fry for 3 minutes.

  6. Drain and pour the Soya mixture into the minced meat and veggie mixture.

  7. As the mixture starts to boil, reduce heat and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring now and then.

  8. Make the spaghetti according to package instructions.
