Meatball Sub

SERVES: 4 people

COOKING TIME: 30 Minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Tbsp flour

  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 500g beef mince

  • 3 Tbsp oil

  • 1 red onion, chopped

  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed

  • Cheese for grilling

  • 1 tin diced tomatoes

  • 2 long French loaves cut into sub strips

  • 2 Tbsp TOP CLASS Mild & Spicy Flavoured Curry Powder

  • 3 Tbsp TOP CLASS Chilli Beef Flavoured Spice Bowl


METHOD

  1. Combine the flour, onions and mince meat together with the TOP CLASS Mild & Spicy Flavoured Curry Powder and TOP CLASS Chilli Beef Flavoured Spice Bowl.

  2. Shape the mixture into round meatballs and place in the fridge to firm.

  3. Fry the meatballs in oil, then set aside.

  4.  In the same pan, fry the red onion and add crushed garlic.

  5. Add a tin of diced tomato and allow to simmer before re-adding the meatballs to heat through.

  6. Slice up loaves and fill with meatballs and sauce.
