INGREDIENTS
4.5kg chicken drumsticks
1⁄2 cup margarine
4 onions, chopped
3 green peppers, chopped
2 cups tomato sauce
410g tin chopped tomatoes
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup of water
2 Tbsp TOP CLASS Mild & Spicy Flavoured Curry Powder
TOP CLASS Chicken Flavoured Spice Bowl, to season
METHOD
Season drumsticks generously with TOP CLASS Chicken Flavoured Spice Bowl.
Brown the seasoned drumsticks using margarine then remove and set aside.
In the same pan, fry onions until glossy and then add the TOP CLASS Mild & Spicy Flavoured Curry Powder.
Add the tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes, brown sugar and water.
Stir well and bring to the boil.
Return the drumsticks to the pot and boil for a further 30 minutes.
Squeeze a fresh lemon over the cooked drumsticks for extra flavour and serve with salad.
